VOLT® Improves Online Ordering through Smart Phones

VOLT® Lighting announced today the launch of a newly improved online mobile ordering experience. Landscape lighting professionals rely more and more on their smart phones to access products and place orders. VOLT® recognized this need and sought to ensure that the mobile website is easily navigated, pages load quickly, and orders placed without issue.
The improvements were made possible because of "responsive technology" that detects the type of mobile device and modifies website content to make it more user-friendly. Navigation elements are enhanced, content is formatted to fit the smaller screen size, and ordering forms are easy to read and submit.
The need for a mobile-friendly website was made clear with feedback from VOLT®'s customers. The professional must have the capability to quickly calculate project costs, and even place orders from the job site. This requires doing that work from a mobile device."
