Product Description

Brass Bully Turret Top MR16 Well Light

The perfect fixture when light needs to be projected horizontally across a surface in all directions.
The solid brass Turret Top features a low profile and five cut-outs for 360º illumination across a surface. A great fixture for safety-critical applications such as near the edges of docks and decks. Since the illumination is confined to the surface, it does not interfere with the vision of pedestrians.

This fixture can also be used as subtle illumination in gravel beds and patios. The star-shaped illumination provides visual interest and can be used as transitional elements in a lighting scene.

The construction of the fixture includes the unbreakable brass top fixed to the waterproof housing with five stainless steel screws and thick rubber gasket. At the center of the top piece a clear flat glass is sealed flush with the bottom of the openings so water will not accumulate inside the unit. A highly reflective white paint redirects the uplight so it projects out the sides of the fixture.

The lower canister is completely sealed -- the round lead wire uses a waterproof pressure fitting to insure water cannot enter from the bottom of the well light fixture. Install it with our Heavy duty PVC Well Light sleeve which provides a durable housing for all Brass Bully fixtures.

This fixture uses MR16 lamps and is an ideal companion to the VOLT line of LED MR16s.

Great New Addition February 12, 2016
Reviewer: Jeff Ware from Key West, FL United States
The arrival of this light into the range was perfect timing. I had a large gravel area that was viewed from second floor balconies and was just a big "black hole" at night. Placing these lights in the gravel threw a nice diffused light over the gravel and resulted in a very creative look to the whole area.

Poor disbursement of light September 25, 2015
Reviewer: Jason Massaro from Indianapolis, IN United States
The look and construction of this top is of the same great quality as all of the rest of Volt's products.  However, the light disbursement is fair, at best.  We used these to light a path from our patio to the pergola but we had to switch them out since the light that was emitted was barely noticeable, especially with the 3 watt LEDs.  While Volt did agree to sell us just the tops of another well style light, I feel they should have taken the Turret tops back and refunded the money given that it is a poor design.

too bright September 7, 2015
Reviewer: Jim from Texas
The build quality is exellent but the light pattern is not and the optional filters for diffusion dont make a bit of difference in light output or glare.  Even with the lowest wattage bulb this light has too much glare for my taste..its not terrible but i was looking for a very soft and subtle path light.  If you need more light, or depending on your placment it may be a good choice but i think it should use a heavily frosted lens to mute the output..the optional "frosted" lens does not make a difference.
