The Hammer 10" February 28, 2015
Reviewer: Daniel Parent from Estero, FL United States
The Hammer 10" ground stake is very easy to install in hard ground as you can use a rubber hammer to install and it does not break.

Upgrade to the Brass stakes! February 19, 2015
Reviewer: ManBearPig from Naperville, IL
For the small difference in cost you will be much happier with the brass stakes.  I have stripped threads and broken these plastic ones.

PLastic Ground Stake February 19, 2015
Reviewer: Richard Fennessy from Johns Island, SC
The only redeeming feature about this stake is that it is free with light fixtures. Even if you are lucky enough to get the fixture installed without it stripping, then the first time the light gets bumped it will strip. Then to install the brass stakes, you must totally uninstall the light fixture even the wire connections which are sealed.

Good design, great warranty but February 18, 2015
Reviewer: N.Young from Atlanta, GA United States
This is a decent design and with Volt's warranty you cannot go wrong. However you need to understand how to install these. 1. Always use a rubber mallet. 1. Do not drive it into the ground anywhere near the slit opening that's use to run the wire through. It will crack. As long as you take your time, and drive it into the ground gently and hit it in the correct location, you should be good to go. It would help if it had a heavier head where you hit the product in the ground though.

Reviewer: Craig Davis from Hollywood, CA
Solid stake which can take a pounding with a small sledge hammer and no worries that it will break.

I was totally shocked by the overall size and strength of this product but in a pleasant way. Very rugged and sturdy. Again the materials and design are top notch. Much appreciated .

Strong as steel March 3, 2014
Reviewer: Bob from Saddlebrooke A
We live in Arizona where the ground is VERY hard with lots of rock and kaliche.  I thought that this plastic stake would fail under such extreme ground conditions but it performed admirably.  It makes installing ground lights so easy.  GREAT product.

OK so far February 25, 2014
Reviewer: Swimmer55 from NE Pennsylvania
Well we have had nothing but snow and ice since I received the shipment so they are not installed yet.. That said - I we are now planning to make additional purchases for a garden area and some spot lighting - mostly replacing lighting that we have had several years that now look pretty unattractive by comparison. Love the weather resistant design and low maintenance of LED's
