- InfinitiTM LED BULBS ARE HERE!
- LED MR16 bulbs specifically designed for landscape lighting and outdoor low voltage lighting.
- CREE XPE Chip (made in the USA). Top of the line LED from the leading USA LED manufacturer.
- 40,000 hr life span (that's about 20 years of use based on 5 hours per night)
- 300 Lumens. Lumens is a very important number. It refers to the actual light output. Most MR16 bulbs will just say something like "4Watts" which is meaningless. An LED's wattage is only the power it consumes and has nothing to do with the actual lumens or light output it produces. If the LED does not have at least 300+ lumens it will not be bright enough to directly compare to a 30w halogen in light output. The InfinitiTM LED 4w MR16 is a true and exact replacement for a 30 watt halogen.
- 3000K warm white color temperature. Another very important specification. Halogen lamps are between 2800-3000K depending on the manufacturer. This is the warm color that people prefer. Most LEDs are naturally around 5000-6000K which is a very cool white that almost looks blue-white and very artificial. Color temperatures above 3500K are considered undesirable for landscape lighting.
- Available in 3 beam angles: 12, 38 and 60 degrees just like a traditional halogen mr16. The advanced photometric's of the InfinitiTM LED bulbs give an even and smooth photometric rendering that is superior to Halogen MR16's. It has a softer, smoother edges for perfect wall washing and up lighting.
- L70 (that means after 40,000 hours the MR16 5w LED will retain 70% of its initial brightness.
- CRI >90. Extremely high color rendering index means a quality light that brings out the true colors of the objects it is shining on.
- 2 year unconditional warranty. Full replacement with-in 2 years of product date imprinted on each lamp. Although bulbs are not normally covered by manufacturer warranties, we offer an unconditional warranty.
- Operates properly with any voltages between 10v-18v AC.
- IMPORTANT *** All VOLTŪ LED fixtures and retrofit bulbs must be used with magnetic transformers such as our VOLTŪ transformers (they are not compatible with electronic transformers). They must be used with AC (they are not compatible with DC voltage). They will operate properly anywhere between 10-18 volts (AC). Failure to comply with any of these factors so will destroy the fixture or lamp and void the warranty.</span><br>
Dimensions: The EXACT same size as a standard halogen mr16. If a halogen mr16 fits, then the InfinitiTM MR16 LED will fit. Some retrofit mr16 LED bulbs are slightly taller or bigger than a halogen mr16 however these are true mr16 size:
2" W x 1 1/2" Tall (excluding the standard G5.3 pins)
